Today was the May meeting of TKAA. Woke up around 7AM and packed the car, arrived at the boat launch only to realize I left my Seat and my PFD. I had a backup in my Trident but way to uncomfortable. Anyway, I got my gear unloaded and met Joe and Tom for the first time. Kind of funny meeting people that you talk to online. We had maybe 20 club members out on the water and a ton of boaters and other Yakkers as well. A bunch of Googans lined the Rail as usual. I stayed until around 12:45ish and had to call it quits. Not much was going on, rail guys were catching dink flounder on cut bait. Heard of a couple people catching a few keeper sized flounder and reds but not much else. I ended up catching a 10 and 8 inch flounder. Even if I didn't catch a ton of fish it was still a blast to meet everyone and have a nice day out on the water. Also got a cool little video of some Fish Fry as they were swimming under my Yak.
